When I was sixteen, I thought it was a good idea to change my name.
You know, to be an actor or a writer I thought I had to have a more interesting title to my life.
That’s what happened in Castle, staring Natan Fillion. Before the mystery novelist turned semi-homicide detective, Fillion’s character Richard Edgar Castle was known as Richard Alexander Rogers.
It’s not a major name change.
But I think that’s what started my whole thought way back in 2012 or so.
When I watched far too much of Castle during my freshman year of high school.
Don’t worry, Micah Mabey is the real name. It never got changed. It’s hard to say why.
Maybe I’m too lazy. Maybe I’d be scared to choose the wrong name and end up hating it a month later. There’s even the chance that I’ve even come around to the name I was given at birth.
I don’t even know the answer.
However, it’s not totally out of the question. God only knows what’ll happen after this quarantine.
